Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Sociomate mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sociomate. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate and current information when registering.
• You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.
• Notify us immediately at satyaranjanpuhan371@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Sociomate to:

• Post content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or discriminatory.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Upload or share content that infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
• Distribute spam, malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the App without our written consent.
• Engage in any conduct that disrupts or interferes with the App or its servers.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on Sociomate (photos, text, messages). By posting content, you grant Sociomate a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content solely to operate and improve the App.

You are solely responsible for your content. We do not endorse any user content and are not liable for content posted by users.

6. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate — without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App — including its design, logos, code, and features — are owned by Sociomate. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sociomate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Last updated date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
